Job summary
Trase Systems, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior or Staff DevOps Engineer to design and operate the platform infrastructure that supports Trase OS across hosted and customer environments.
You will containerize services with Docker/Kubernetes, build IaC pipelines with Terraform or Pulumi, and ensure portability, security, and reliability across multi-cloud and on-premises deployments. Leadership expectations include mentoring engineers and shaping engineering standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software, platform, infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps experience with production ownership.
- Deep hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and production cluster operations.
- Strong IaC experience with Terraform or Pulumi and reusable modules.
- Experience across two of AWS, Azure, GCP or on-prem/private-cloud deployments.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and operate secure infrastructure across multi-cloud and on-prem environments.
- Containerize and package services using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or equivalent tools.
- Create reusable IaC modules and deployment workflows with Terraform or Pulumi.
- Design deployment patterns for customer-specific requirements and portability.
- Lead reliability decisions and mentor engineers across teams.
