Gartner is seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead the Conference Tech platform integrations and deliver a world-class experience for C-level attendees. You will guide cross regional engineering teams to execute integration roadmaps and elevate engineering excellence in an agile environment.

The role requires 12–15 years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership, deep enterprise platform experience, and expertise in AWS, OO programming (.NET/Java/Ruby), and

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science or related field.
• Experience: 12–15 years in software engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Technical Expertise: Enterprise platform integrations, cloud architecture (AWS), OO programming across .NET/Java/Ruby, API-centric and event-driven platforms.
• Leadership: Manage distributed teams and drive organizational change across IT and business.
• Preferred: Curiosity and drive for continuous learning; experience leading large platform integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross regional engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Drive conference platform integration roadmap and agile delivery.
• Strengthen SDLC rigor, platform architecture, and engineering discipline.
