Job summary

Blackpoint Cyber seeks a strategic Director of Platform Engineering to lead the Unified Security Posture data platform, owning the roadmap, vendor integrations, and core services powering our cybersecurity solutions.

You will guide multiple engineering teams, partner with product and SRE, and drive operational excellence, security, and scalable architecture across the organization.

This role requires 15+ years in software with 5+ years managing multiple teams and deep AWS/data platform experience.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software development experience, cybersecurity preferred.
• 5+ years leading multiple engineering teams at Director level.
• Experience with large-scale AWS solutions and data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the platform roadmap aligned with product and business goals.
• Partner with Product and SRE to ensure platform security, reliability, and scalability.
• Lead data pipeline development, integrating endpoint and vendor data.
• Deliver platform services and public APIs for tenant management, identity, and RBAC.
• Lead platform tooling and APIs to accelerate AI/ML and BI initiatives.
• Oversee CI/CD tooling and developer productivity.
• Define long-term data platform vision with modern governance.
