Job summary

EF Education First Ltd. seeks a Director of Placement to lead regional student placement performance and strategy, managing a team of Regional Placement Managers and supporting local coordinators to expand capacity and uphold program quality.

You will guide leaders, coach teams, use data-driven planning, and partner with cross-functional groups to ensure strong execution across host family recruitment, student placement, school readiness, and operations while balancing growth and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading people, coaching performance, and supporting professional growth.
• Experience in recruitment, business development, account management, operations, or another results-focused environment.
• Experience setting goals, tracking performance, using data to guide decisions, and translating organizational goals into clear priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead student placement progress and team performance across your assigned USA region.
• Develop and coach Regional Placement Managers and coordinators to strengthen host family recruitment and matching, student placement, and program operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to forecast progress, set priorities, and communicate risks and next steps.
