Job summary

Triumph is seeking a Director of Physical Security to own the end-to-end risk picture for warehouses and related facilities. You will design, deploy, and validate controls across access, surveillance, and incident response, coordinating with facilities, HR, and legal to reduce loss.

You’ll lead a growing program with hands-on, threat-based decision making, drive vendor relationships, and ensure sites remain compliant while supporting rapid expansion in the Bay Area and beyond.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in corporate physical security with director-level experience.
• Hands-on investigations with HR and Legal, defensible documentation.
• Recordkeeping and reporting experience.
• Experience integrating security into the employee lifecycle and vendor governance.
• Proven leadership across diverse skill sets and sites.
• Experience scaling security for offices and warehouses.
• Experience from design through commissioning of facilities and sites.
• Ability to write technical design standards, post orders, runbooks.
• Expertise in access systems, surveillance, and incident response.
• Strong risk-management, BCM, and emergency response.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite at East Bay HQ as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own the physical risk picture end to end across EH&S, guard ops, protective intelligence, and loss prevention.
• Maintain threat assessments for every warehouse and test controls through inspections and reviews.
• Reduce external shrink with deterrence, detection, and recovery strategies.
• Reduce internal shrink by implementing segregation of duties and robust audits.
• Own security across the employee and contractor lifecycle; governance and access provisioning.
• Design, deploy, and test access control, surveillance, and incident response across sites.
• Run guard force operations, post orders, and vendor management.
• Lead security due diligence for real estate and M&A transactions.
• Own budget, measure program outcomes, and report shrink, incidents, and cost against risk reduced.
• Hire, mentor, and lead a team of FTEs and contractors across Bay Area sites.
