Job summary

The Center for Enriched Living is seeking a Director of Development to lead a robust philanthropy program and a high-performing team in Riverwoods, IL. This role, reporting to the CEO, focuses on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors while guiding campaigns, events, grants, and corporate partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have seven years of fundraising experience with increasing responsibility, proven major gift experience, and a track record of building strong donor

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of fundraising experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Three+ years managing a multi-functional team.
• Proven ability to solicit and secure 6-figure gifts.
• Working knowledge of planned giving strategy and implementation.
• Experience working with the Executive Director/CEO and Board leadership on major donor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead a comprehensive philanthropy program and development operations.
• Manage a portfolio of high-potential donors for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Drive strategic philanthropy goals including campaigns, events, grants, and partnerships.
• Provide overall vision for donor engagement and broader philanthropic initiatives.
