Job summary

The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties is seeking a Director for Philanthropic Services to steward donor relationships and connect families with meaningful, high‑impact giving opportunities. This in‑office role requires adaptability and strong stakeholder engagement.

You will manage established charitable funds, collaborate with internal teams, and drive donor engagement to align philanthropic goals with the Foundation’s mission. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum five years of experience in business development, fundraising, donor/family relations.
• Familiarity with basic investment performance and ability to explain market performance and read financial or fund statements.
• Proven success working with high‑net‑worth individuals and professional advisors.
• Experience with basic estate planning, and legacy giving strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft, Adobe, Excel, and donor research tools such as Wealth Engine and C‑Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for a portfolio of established funds and donor-advised funds.
• Prepare clear, compelling proposals and reports showing impact and partnership value.
• Provide personalized stewardship including annual fundholder meetings and donor communications.
• Build trust with donors by understanding goals and ensuring philanthropic intentions are honored.
• Collaborate with fundholders to design tailored strategies for maximum benefits.
• Present annual updates to nonprofit organizations and committees.
