Job summary

Regency Hospital - Macon in Macon, GA, seeks a Director of Pharmacy to lead the hospital's pharmaceutical services. You will report to the CEO and oversee clinical, operational, and financial management of the pharmacy.

The role requires at least three years of hospital pharmacy experience, state licensure, and compliance with Joint Commission standards. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits as part of a large health system.

Qualifications

• Requires licensure as a pharmacist in the state of practice.
• Minimum of three (3) years of hospital experience within the last 5 years.
• BLS if required by State.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS and other regulatory bodies.
• Lead Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.
• Lead Multi-Disciplinary Rounding Program.
• Develop and participate in new employee training and education programs.
• Participate in quality assurance programs related to drug utilization and effectiveness.
• Participate in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promote an environment of continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients and their families.
