Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy; Doctoral degree in pharmacy (PharmD) preferred.
• Seven years in pharmaceutical department functions; psychiatric pharmacy experience preferred.
• Two years supervisory/leadership experience.
• BCPP or eligibility preferred.
• Maryland pharmacist licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Direct all pharmacy activities including clinical services, dispensing, and purchasing.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and coach staff; maintain a high-performing team.
• Review orders, detect incompatibilities, dispense medications.
• Develop policies for QA, controlled substances security, inventory, and records.
• Lead budgeting and strategic goals; collaborate with leadership.
• Consult with medical staff on drugs and options.
• Oversee inventory, drug stocking, and waste disposal.
• Lead quality improvement and medication-use evaluation.
