Auxo Talent is recruiting for a venture-backed Physical AI company in the San Francisco Bay Area. We are seeking a Director of Perception to lead a team of perception and computer vision engineers, shaping the technical direction and ensuring deployment of perception systems in real robots or vehicles.

You will own the perception roadmap from research through deployed product, collaborate with planning, controls, and robot learning teams, and hire and develop senior engineers and team leads to

Qualifications

• 8+ years in perception, computer vision, or autonomous systems.
• Experience leading perception or computer vision teams.
• A track record of shipping perception systems on real robots or vehicles.
• Technical depth in object detection, tracking, SLAM, sensor fusion, or 3D reconstruction.
• Experience with modern deep learning methods for perception.
• MS or PhD in Robotics, CS, EE, or similar.

About the role
