Job summary

Talentrix AI is seeking a senior HR leader in San Francisco to own people operations and build HR infrastructure from the ground up. You will manage hiring, design org structure, and lead performance and retention initiatives while ensuring compliant, engaging employee experiences.

You will also oversee office space and facilities, coordinate vendors, and develop a vibrant culture with programs, rituals, and events. This role requires on-site presence and deep knowledge of CA employment law.

Qualifications

• People Ops and HRBP experience in a high-growth tech startup (Series A–C).
• Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in San Francisco; no relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Build HR infrastructure from the ground up (hiring, organization design, performance, retention).
• Own end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, policies, compliance, benefits, day-to-day experience.
• Own and manage office space and facilities, including vendor management and space planning.
• Foster a strong company culture with programs, rituals, and events.

• Experience building HR infrastructure from the ground up (hiring, organization design, performance, and retention)
• End- to- end full employee lifecycle (onboarding, policies, compliance, benefits coordination, and day- to-day employee experience)
• Experience owning or managing office space and facilities (vendor management, space planning, facilities decision- making)
• Building strong company culture (programming, rituals, and events)
• Working knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance
• Familiarity with HR and ATS platforms (Rippling, Ashby, Lattice, Greenhouse, Justworks)
