Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Southwestern Oregon is seeking a Director of Human Resources to provide strategic leadership for the HR department, promoting equity and a high-performing workforce in Eugene-Springfield, OR. This full-time management role focuses on lawful employment practices and employee relations.

The position oversees compensation, benefits, training, and labor relations, guiding policy, budget, and compliance with the CBA and applicable laws for a broad, mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• At least eight (8) years of progressively responsible human resources or related experience.
• Will consider an equivalent combination equaling 12 years’ experience.
• Knowledge of recruitment, compensation and benefits, labor relations and HR information systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR department with focus on equity and inclusion.
• Administer compensation, benefits, performance management, and safety programs.
• Ensure labor relations align with the CBA and legal requirements.
• Represent PPSO in hearings and investigations.
• Develop budgets for personnel operations.
• Coordinate with the Labor Management Committee to resolve labor disputes.
• Guide training and development in partnership with the Learning and Education Department.
