Job summary

Cathedral Arts Project seeks a Director of Professional Development to build CAP's training infrastructure for teaching artists, fellows, therapists and program directors across Arts Ignite, Art Smarts and CAPabilities. You will design PD that sticks, facilitate sessions and build systems enabling CAP to deliver excellent training across CAP’s network.

This role leads the PD function from the ground up, partnering with program directors and staff to scale arts integration nationwide while

Qualifications

• Deep, demonstrated experience designing and facilitating adult professional development.
• Track record of training trainers and building facilitation skills in others.
• Strong instructional design to translate content into sequenced learning.
• Experience identifying, applying to and presenting at conferences in arts education.
• Business development experience to grow PD revenue.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead CAP's professional development strategy and curricula across programs.
• Personally facilitate PD sessions and train others to facilitate effectively.
• Author clear, structured PD curricula and facilitator guides.
• Grow CAP's presence and secure funding/partnerships for staff training.
• Build a scalable national professional development program.
• Supervise the Curriculum Writer and align outputs to CAP standards.
