Job summary

Broward Health seeks a Director of Patient Navigation to lead the program and align access strategies across scheduling, registration and navigation services. You will design scalable workflows, drive patient experience improvements, and ensure high-quality outcomes across inpatient and emergency follow-up transitions.

The role requires seven years of related healthcare experience and an active Florida nursing license (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or another healthcare related field.
• Seven years of related experience.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida or able to obtain license before start; multi-state license acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Broward Health’s Patient Navigation Program.
• Design and implement scalable access models to improve care navigation and patient experience.
• Optimize performance across scheduling, registration, and patient navigation services.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient access, coordinate care, and reduce barriers to care.
• Support transitions of care and referral management to outpatient hospital departments.
