Our ideal candidate thrives in both virtual and in-person environments, excelling at building lasting partnerships with education leaders while navigating the unique complexities of district sales cycles. Success in this role means building meaningful relationships with education leaders, understanding their most pressing challenges, and positioning Classroom Mosaic as an essential partner in their journey toward instructional excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business opportunities and manage the entire sales cycle, from prospect identification to contract closure.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with K-12 academic calendars, balancing long-term planning with day-to-day execution.
  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with key decision makers, including principals, CAOs, superintendents, and state education administrators nationwide, gaining insights into their most pressing initiatives and challenges
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the solutions and services offered by Classroom Mosaic to effectively execute product demonstrations and presentations that communicate the value proposition of our platform to potential clients
  • Assist with responding to RFPs and creating customized proposals that align with district and state requirements
  • Accurately forecast sales pipeline, maintain detailed opportunity records, monitor progress closely, and ensure timely follow-up to guide potential clients through the sales process
  • Partner with our Client Success team to ensure smooth handoffs from sales to implementation while guiding clients through their Classroom Mosaic rollout
  • Represent the client and their needs in internal discussions and planning to help direct product development and marketing strategies
  • Participate in education industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and network with prospective and current clients
  • Ability to constantly evaluate and refine your sales process and methodologies to identify potential areas of improvement or close knowledge gaps
  • Prepare weekly reports on sales activities, progress, and achievements to contribute to the company's growth and strategic discussions
Skills & Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in K-12 education technology or SaaS
  • Experience in K-12 education sector (administration, district leadership or EdTech) is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Demonstrated success navigating K-12 sales cycles, including district procurement processes and school-year budgeting
  • Experience building consensus among diverse stakeholder groups in complex educational environments
  • Track record of winning education partnerships through strategic discovery, stakeholder alignment, and solution-focused selling
  • Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations to educational leaders, both virtually and in-person
  • Excellence in developing persuasive sales materials and professional communications that advance opportunities
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and modern sales tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Ability to understand and articulate the challenges faced by instructional leaders and teachers
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to meet with current and prospective clients, represent Classroom Mosaic at conferences, and build relationships with key contacts
  • Must be able to travel via car or plane and lift and manipulate equipment up to 15 - 30 lbs
Why join our team?
  • We are on a mission to help all K-12 schools provide a world-class education to every student.
  • You will contribute to building and implementing our platform for continuous instructional improvement, which supports highly effective teaching and helps develop high-quality instructional leaders.
  • We are rapidly growing, and your work will impact tens of thousands of teachers and hundreds of thousands of students.
  • We are not the typical growth-at-all-cost software company; we have an owner’s mindset and make intentional long-term decisions.
  • You will join a nimble team of exceptional members with ample opportunities for personal and professional growth.
  • You will have potential opportunities for management as the team grows.
  • The base salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 + an uncapped commission structure.
  • 401(K) & 5% company match
