African Safari Wildlife Park is hiring a Director of Facilities and Maintenance to lead the park's facilities, buildings, grounds, and infrastructure. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and operational readiness for guests and animals.

You will manage a team, coordinate preventative maintenance, and oversee contractors and projects. Ideal candidates will bring hands-on leadership, strong planning skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic wildlife environment.

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18+ years old and pass pre-employment screening.
• At least 3 years of maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience.
• Previous supervisory or management experience required.
• Working knowledge of general building maintenance and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and prioritize repairs by urgency.
• 40–60 hours per week, including some weekends and after-hours availability.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to work outdoors in variable weather and lift up to 70 pounds.

• Lead preventative maintenance programs and record-keeping.

• Train and supervise maintenance staff and establish priorities.
• Collaborate with park departments to support daily operations.
• Respond to emergencies during park hours and after-hours as needed.
