Job Title: Director of Outpatient Services

The Director of Outpatient Services develops and administers a comprehensive IOP and PHP program that responds to community needs and supports the organization's overall mission, philosophy, and goals. The role involves integrating the management of PHP within the behavioral health system's continuum of care.

Responsibilities
  1. Guide, direct, motivate, and implement policies and procedures for outpatient services. Ensure high-quality care by coordinating operational procedures with staff and programs.
  2. Monitor, evaluate, and modify programs in compliance with organizational standards.
  3. Develop and implement training to ensure staff are knowledgeable about clinical practices, approaches, and system trends. Seek additional training resources as needed and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Ensure incident reporting requirements are met for all crises and unusual incidents.
  5. Partner with internal and external stakeholders on program development.
  6. Attend required meetings and training sessions.
  7. Innovate by developing new methods, products, or services, challenging conventional practices for organizational improvement.
  8. Proactively initiate and follow through on plans or tasks, demonstrating initiative and adaptability to change.
  9. Stay current with new techniques in the field, discerning between trends and substantive developments.
Requirements
  1. Education: Master's degree leading to licensure by the Texas Board of Behavioral Health.
  2. License: Valid Texas LMSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist license. Interns and associates considered with supervision agreement.
  3. Certification: Current CPR and Handle with Care certification (to be obtained within 30 days of hire).
  4. Experience: 1-3 years in relevant therapeutic fields; healthcare and outpatient experience preferred.
  5. Knowledge of OSHA, CMS, and Joint Commission standards preferred.
