Job summary

The Ohio State University venue seeks a Director of Operations to oversee daily venue and event operations, staffing coordination, safety compliance, and service delivery to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage labor plans, coordinate with culinary, concessions, security, and guest experience teams, and monitor budgets and performance metrics to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, or large-scale venues.
• Experience managing large teams and cross-functional departments.
• Knowledge of event operations, staffing logistics, and facility management.
• Proficiency with scheduling, reporting, and operational software systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and venue safety procedures.
