Levy Restaurants is seeking a Director of Operations for The Ohio State University, overseeing venue operations, event execution, staffing coordination, safety compliance, and service delivery to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role leads large teams across cross‑functional operations, partners with culinary, concessions, security, and guest services, and drives efficiency, budget discipline, and program excellence in a high‑profile sports and entertainment setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, or large-scale venues.
• Experience managing large teams and cross‑functional departments.
• Knowledge of event operations, staffing logistics, and facility management.
• Proficiency with scheduling, reporting, and operational software systems.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and venue safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily venue and event operations
• Manage operational staffing plans and labor execution
• Coordinate with culinary, concessions, security, and guest experience teams
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Monitor operational budgets and performance metrics
• Develop operational procedures to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Support premium events, sporting events, concerts, and special programs
