Gigantes Group in Westchester County is seeking an experienced Senior AV Design Engineer to own the technical design process for multimillion-dollar commercial AV projects. You will collaborate with project management, engineering and installation teams to deliver robust, scalable systems.

This leadership role influences engineering standards and project delivery, with hands-on guidance and direct access to leadership. On-site work is required in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial AV systems design experience within an integration environment.
• Ability to lead the design of complex AV systems.
• Knowledge of AV-over-IP, DSP, control systems, conferencing and networked AV technologies.
• Experience producing and reviewing technical design documentation.
• Understanding the installation and commissioning process.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design of commercial audiovisual systems from concept through to installation.
• Develop system architecture, equipment specifications, signal flow diagrams and design documentation.
• Design integrated AV solutions covering conferencing, presentation, audio, video and control systems.
• Work closely with project managers, technicians and leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review designs for technical accuracy, functionality and installation requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineering team members.
• Liaise with manufacturers and vendors to identify appropriate technical solutions.
• Contribute to the development of engineering processes and design standards.

The company delivers complex, multimillion-dollar commercial AV projects and is looking for someone who can take ownership of the technical design process, working closely with project management, engineering and installation teams.

• Lead the technical design of commercial audiovisual systems from concept through to installation.
