Zusammenfassung

Denver Botanic Gardens seeks a full-time Director of Operations to oversee facilities, maintenance, safety, and capital projects. Lead budgeting, staffing, vendor management, and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, efficient operations and a welcoming visitor experience.

You will manage HVAC, grounds, water features, security, and sustainability programs while coordinating with city partners and external providers. A bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, construction management, engineering, business administration, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum of ten years of progressively responsible supervisory or managerial experience including facilities operations and customer service.
• Experience with contract and project management, general plant operations, security, irrigation, water features, budgeting, capital projects, and construction oversight.

Aufgaben

• Directs planning, development, and oversight of Operations budgets and staffing.
• Leads Operations functions: HVAC, carpentry, facility and grounds maintenance, security, irrigation, water features, and supporting systems.
• Ensures safe, efficient, reliable facilities and an exceptional visitor and employee experience.
• Guides capital repairs, equipment replacement, and approved projects from planning through completion.
• Maintains relationships with city agencies and external partners; oversees safety and regulatory compliance.
