Easy Does It, Inc. (EDI) is dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals recovering from substance use disorder.

The Director of Operations leads a team of certified recovery specialists and house managers to oversee programming and daily operations at the licensed recovery house in Bern Township, Berks County, PA. Reporting to the Executive Director, this salaried role offers generous benefits and opportunities to influence client outcomes while ensuring compliance with standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Masters preferred) in human services, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience working in the field of substance use disorders, such as residential treatment or recovery housing.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in supervisory/management roles in the field of substance use disorders.
• If recovering from a substance use disorder, a minimum of five years of continuous recovery and must be actively engaged in a pathway of recovery.
• If recovering from a mental health diagnosis, must be actively engaged in a pathway of recovery and/or under the care of a medical professional.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of EDI’s licensed recovery house and transportation.
• Oversee delivery of certified recovery support services.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and retain frontline staff; be available on-call for critical incidents and emergencies.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate client programming.
• Make decisions on client reengagement contracts, referrals to other services and levels of care, and discharges.
• Report, investigate, and resolve critical incidents internally and to external partners.
• Develop, implement, and enforce organizational policies and procedures.
• Attend and assist all major programs and recovery community events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
