Job summary

EDSI is seeking a Community Services Coordinator to oversee programs across Philadelphia, including Re-Entry and Opioid/Recovery. You will supervise a team of Community Workforce Connectors, manage daily operations, and maintain strong partner relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.

You will lead meetings, track performance, and ensure accurate data entry and reporting across programs, with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years’ experience in workforce development, re-entry services, recovery/behavioral health programs, or community engagement.
• Experience supervising or leading a team with accountability and performance management.
• Knowledge of workforce systems, including WIOA programs and re-entry/recovery challenges.
• Strong skills in reporting, data quality assurance, and project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools.
• Valid driver’s license recommended, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and hold a team of Community Workforce Connectors accountable to performance expectations and service delivery.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, weekly team meetings, and document discussions.
• Address performance concerns directly and uphold expectations across the team.
• Assign tasks, manage schedules, and ensure site coverage with flexible staffing.
• Oversee service delivery across program areas, ensuring quality and alignment with goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners; conduct on-site visits.
• Lead and manage partner meetings; produce meeting recaps and action items.
• Ensure event coverage and timely event recaps with outcomes and follow-ups.
• Generate reports for leadership, partners, and funding sources; prepare file audits.
