Job summary
Gummi World is seeking a Director of Operations in Chandler, AZ to lead strategic execution across a high-volume nutraceutical manufacturing operation. This onsite, senior role reports to the CEO and drives profitability, culture, and capability while coordinating with the Gardena, CA site for consistency.
The ideal candidate combines executive presence with hands-on leadership on the production floor, strong communication, and a track record of improving productivity and quality in a regulated
Qualifications
- Experience in senior leadership with P&L ownership.
- Executive presence and partnership with CEO and SLT.
- Knowledge of cGMPs and FDA regulations.
- Strong leadership and cross-level communication.
- High emotional intelligence and coaching ability.
- Hands-on on the production floor with executive credibility.
- Proven track record in productivity, cost targets and KPIs.
- Bachelor's degree or higher; MBA a plus; technical degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Achieve on-time delivery and quality targets.
- Own cost outcomes and profitability through production excellence.
- Lead 60+ person facility through growth with culture and systems.
- Coordinate schedules, inventory, purchasing, receiving, and shipping.
- Maintain safety and compliance with quality management standards.
- Set routine staff meetings and provide decision-making resources.
- Travel periodically to Gardena, CA for cross-site alignment.
- Develop leadership bench and succession planning.
