Job summary

Medicoil in Lake Geneva, WI is seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to direct Manufacturing, Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Shipping & Receiving. This senior leader will translate business strategy into operational results by developing people, strengthening processes, improving capacity and flow, and ensuring safe, high-quality products for medical customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience managing people and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing, Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Shipping & Receiving with clear priorities and accountability.
• Develop and coach managers and teams through regular communication, feedback, succession planning and training.
• Translate company goals into operating plans, capacity strategies, staffing, budgets, and KPIs.
• Improve materials and information flow to increase throughput, on-time delivery, reduce lead times, and lower costs.
• Champion continuous improvement using lean principles, problem-solving, root-cause analysis and data-driven decisions.
• Ensure a safe workplace and compliance with quality systems including ISO 13485 requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Quality and Engineering to align demand, capacity, capital needs and commitments.
• Define and review KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity; address gaps with action plans.
• Lead readiness for new products, process changes, and equipment installations.
