Job summary

Timken Company seeks a results‑driven Director of Operations to lead daily manufacturing activities across our sites. You will align production with business goals, coordinating with engineering, planning, quality, and finance to ensure on‑time delivery and cost efficiency.

Required: bachelor’s degree in Operations or related field with 7+ years’ experience; Six Sigma/TQM/Kaizen certifications preferred; strong ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, Infor).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field with 7+ years of experience.
• Six Sigma, TQM, 5S/Kaizen certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production activities from sourcing to delivery, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Develop strategic plans to align manufacturing with business goals, including capacity and scheduling.
• Coordinate across engineering, production control, accounting, purchasing, and quality control.
• Define and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement and cost optimization.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage operations staff to build leadership capacity.
