Job summary

Adsys Controls is seeking a Director of Operations in Irvine, CA to lead daily operations and drive strategic execution in a fast-growing, high-technology environment. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, process optimization, and staff development within a defense-oriented engineering context.

The position requires 15+ years in operations leadership, a strong background in STEM, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related STEM field from an accredited university with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
• 5+ years of proven experience as Director of Operations or relevant role.
• Experience overseeing daily operations of a business.
• Excellent understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, etc.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and manage resources; develop and implement an operational plan.
• Regularly evaluate efficiency and maximize staff productivity.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on concurrent cross-functional projects.
• Lead staff to achieve objectives and drive performance improvements.
• Analyze data and metrics to assess organizational performance and guide decisions.
