Job summary

SECU Family House in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks a Director of Operations to partner with the Executive Director in shaping and executing operations across facilities, guest services, and financial management. This leadership role oversees facilities, risk, and partnerships, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree preferred in hospitality, business, healthcare administration or related field.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, healthcare hospitality, nonprofit operations, hotels or related environments.
• Strong systems-thinking and process-improvement skills.
• Ability to analyze data and develop meaningful performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and leadership abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to manage confidentiality with sensitive financial data.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for guest services, finance, facilities, housekeeping, safety and operations.
• Develop annual operational goals and key performance indicators.
• Supervise and develop departmental leaders with clear performance expectations.
• Design, implement and improve policies, procedures, workflows and SOPs.
• Monitor budget performance, cash flow, expenses and financial controls.
• Oversee contracts for facility maintenance and capital budgets.
• Develop vendor relationships and seek donations to offset operating expenses.
• Be the liaison to HHN and represent the organization at meetings.
