Job summary

Canteen, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Director of Operations to lead System Deployment & Ops Integrations as part of the Field Implementation team. This leader partners with operational SMEs, field leadership, and technology resources to deploy system deployments and integrate acquired businesses across Canteen’s national footprint.

The role will manage a team of centralized operations experts and project managers to support branch and division partners through significant business

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading complex projects across operational teams.
• Ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Executive presence with ability to influence stakeholders across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional business integration and system deployment projects from initiation through execution and stabilization.
• Partner with leaders across Canteen operational divisions as well as corporate and technology departments to implement solutions for seamless integration of acquired business.
• Establish and own project management standards, communication plans, and change management strategy.
• Build training plans and develop SOPs to enable ongoing guidance and sustainment for operations.
• Oversee team prioritization and resource planning to support ongoing project pipeline.
• Facilitate input from operational stakeholders and represent field perspectives in strategic technology initiatives.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for project delivery.

• Partner with leaders across Canteen operational divisions as well as corporate and technology departments to identify and implement solutions to ensure seamless integration of acquired business.
• Establish and own project management standards, communication plans, and change management strategy.
• Build training plans and develop SOPs to enable ongoing guidance and sustainment for operations.
• Oversee team prioritization and resource planning to support ongoing project pipeline.
• Facilitate input from operational stakeholders and represent field perspectives in strategic technology initiatives.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators for project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience leading complex projects, including direct experience managing change across various operational teams.
• Proven ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced driven environment
• Proven ability to mentor and develop team members
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Strong executive presence with proven ability to influence and align stakeholders across various teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
