Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Director of Patient Care Services - Operations to oversee non-clinical ancillaries including Operations and Facilities. The leader will drive ownership and process improvement for sustainable value-added services in a modern acute care setting.

The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree and at least 5 years of related experience, with strong clinical leadership and experience in an acute care inpatient hospital environment.

• Certified Healthcare Operations Professional (CHOP) - Basic or Advanced - (Preferred)

Experience

- 5 years minimum of related experience - (Required)

- Clinical Leadership experience - (Required)

- Seeking candidates who will have experience in an acute care, inpatient hospital setting overseeing one or more of the following:

• Security


• Food services


• Bio med (ventilators, respiratory care)


• Engineering


• Supply Chain


• Guest/volunteer services


• Facilities/plant operations support


• Environmental services


• Capital building projects


• Medical Office Building (MOB) space development planning


• Large construction project experience


• FEMA certification preferred
