Director of Operations – The Davidov Team at Compass

Overview

We’re a fast-moving residential real estate team at Compass, focused on delivering high-touch service to buyers, sellers, and investors across Manhattan, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Downtown Brooklyn. We’re seeking a Director of Operations to drive efficiency, support growth, and bring structure to the backend of a high-volume business.

This is a critical leadership role for someone who thrives in organized chaos, loves systems, and can turn vision into execution.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Systems

• Build, maintain, and optimize backend systems (CRM, task management, transaction tracking, etc.)

• Oversee daily workflows, team calendars, and process checklists to ensure smooth execution

• Manage and delegate tasks to VAs and junior team members

• Coordinate listing launches, open house scheduling, and campaign timelines

• Manage agent marketing materials and collaborate with Compass marketing tools

• Track and route leads from digital ads, farming campaigns, and database outreach

• Monitor lead follow-up and reporting across systems (Follow Up Boss, Mailchimp, etc.)

Team Support & Growth

• Onboard and train new agents on systems, SOPs, and team expectations

• Support team culture through accountability check-ins and internal communications

• Collaborate with Eithan to operationalize business goals and drive results

Project Coordination

• Support client gifting, touchpoint campaigns, and referral systems

• Keep listing and buyer campaigns on track with clear timelines and deliverables

• Act as the point of contact between marketing, agents, clients, and vendors

Ideal Background

• 2–4 years of experience in operations, project management, or team coordination (real estate, consulting, or marketing background a plus)

• Strong organizational and tech skills (Google Workspace, CRMs, Compass tools, ClickUp/Trello, Canva, etc.)

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple moving parts

• Self-starter who can lead without micromanagement

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment

• Passion for real estate, marketing, and systems
