As we continue to scale, we are seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to lead day-to-day operations across our multi-site organization.

Position Overview:

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing, logistics, and operational functions across our printing and signage businesses. This role ensures efficient production workflows, quality control, inventory management, procurement, and timely fulfillment. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, implement lean processes, and help drive strategic initiatives that improve gross margin, reduce waste, and support scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership across multiple facilities specializing in wide-format digital printing, screen printing, and signage production.
• Oversee production planning, press utilization, job scheduling, and overall workflow efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement in operational KPIs, including on-time delivery, spoilage rates, labor efficiency, and throughput.
• Manage procurement, vendor relationships, and inventory to ensure cost-effective sourcing and material availability.
• Lead and mentor department managers including Print Production, Prepress, Finishing, Installation, Fulfillment, and Maintenance.
• Partner with leadership to align operational strategies with sales growth, client needs, and profitability goals.
• Implement and optimize ERP and MIS systems for job tracking, costing, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Support integration of newly acquired facilities or services into a unified operations model.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within the printing, signage, or graphics industries.
• Proven success leading multi-site or multi-departmental operations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong background in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and cost control.
• Experience with wide-format digital printing (UV, latex, solvent), screen printing, and finishing processes is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP/MIS systems (e.g., PrintIQ, LiftERP, Midnight) and production reporting tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution and team development.
