Job summary

Crane is seeking a site operations leader to ensure the operations staff delivers service agreements aligned with client standards. You will direct daily operations, optimize staffing, and drive profitability through strong client service and clear communications.

You will train and develop teammates, manage departmental budgets, and monitor purchasing and financial reporting. This hands-on role requires on-site presence at the assigned location and a focus on safety, quality, and continuous

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 10 years industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
  • Professional certifications may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Directs site operations to ensure staff meets client standards on service agreements.
  • Maximize profitability via superior client service and prompt communications.
  • Plan and monitor daily staffing to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Manage departmental revenue and expenses within budget.
  • Train, develop and motivate employees for peak performance.
  • Manage purchasing, budgeting and financial reporting for the department.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job description

  • Directs site operations to ensure that the operations staff executes service agreements at, or above the client's standards.
  • Maximize profitability through superior client service, effective and prompt communications and follow-up on all pending matters with the client.
  • Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules, and adjusts accordingly to ensure adequate staffing levels that support operational demands and business objectives.
  • Manage revenue and expenses to budget constraints.
  • Responsible to train, develop and motivate employees to peak performance and growth in their knowledge and responsibilities
  • Ability to manage the financial aspects of the department (purchasing, budget preparation and review, financial reporting and monitoring expenses).
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Computer Literate
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web based and job specific software applications

Physical Requirements

  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components
  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Walking within the warehouse and inspecting freight
  • Job will require presence on-site at the assigned work location

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED Required
