Qualifications

THE DIRECTOR LEADS THE DAILY OPERATIONS OF AN EARLY LEARNING FACILITY. THEY SUPERCISE TEACHING STAFF, MANAGE THE CENTER'S BUDGET, ENSURE STRICT COMPLIANCE WITH STATE LICENSING AND SAFETY REGULATIONS, DEVELOP EDUCATIONAL CURRICULA, AND ACT AS THE PRIMARY LIASON BETWEEN PARENTS, CHILDREN, AND THE COMMUNITY

Requirements

  • Licensing Requirements:Directors must usually pass background checks, obtain CPR/First Aid certification, and meet specific continuing education or state-mandated training hours.
