Job summary

Teladoc Health in Goleta, CA seeks a Transformation Director to drive operational excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the organization. You will lead cross-functional transformation initiatives, optimize processes, and balance cost, speed, compliance, and customer experience.

The role acts as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, managing risks and delivering outcomes through data-driven insights and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• MS in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 10+ years of experience in business transformation, consulting, operations, and/or operational excellence roles, including experience with health systems.
• Proven expertise in customer operations and product lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of operational excellence, process optimization, and change management.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional initiatives in complex environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design and implement operational improvement and transformation initiatives aligned with business strategy.
• Optimize end-to-end operational processes across key functions (Operations, IT, Finance, HR, Customer Service).
• Drive service quality, efficiency, and scalability through KPI and SLA management.
• Monitor operational and financial performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and effectiveness.
• Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring clear scope, timelines, governance, and delivery.
• Implement and standardize project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Ensure operational processes comply with legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements.
• Gather business requirements, translate them into actionable solutions, and oversee implementation.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively addressing scope of creep.
• Support senior leaders with data-driven insights, user research and operational recommendations that enable timely decision-making and execution.
• Collaborate across the organization and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver shared outcomes.
• Work with urgency and diligence to advance transformation priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes within committed timelines.
• Assess options in complex environments, evaluate risks and tradeoffs, and recommend practical paths for execution.
• Proactively identify and remove roadblocks, escalating issues as needed to maintain momentum and deliver intended outcomes.
