Job summary

Catholic Community Services is seeking a Director of Operational Support in Bellingham, WA. The role focuses on operational integrity, project management, and contract administration across CCS programs. This exempt/salary position emphasizes compliance, efficiency, and risk mitigation.

The director will oversee the Operations Team, coordinate vendor relations, and lead process improvements to ensure adherence to CCS policies and funding requirements. A strong nonprofit background is preferred.

Qualifications

• MA in Business Administration, Public Administration, MSW or related discipline OR 5+ years equivalent work experience.
• Experienced administrator with program development and implementation skills, preferably in a non-profit setting.
• Strong financial and organizational skills with exposure to non-profit accounting and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract review and renewal processes for NW Programs per CCS policy.
• Oversee risk management databases and insurance coverage for NW properties and vehicles.
• Provide infrastructure and administrative support for the NW Agency's programs.
• Assist in financial stewardship and budget planning with Program Directors.
• Lead development and enforcement of agency-wide policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership for cross-functional operational projects from planning to evaluation.
