Fidelity is seeking a Director of Operational Due Diligence to lead initial due diligence and ongoing oversight of third-party sub-advisers and fund-of-funds managers across assets. You will assess operational risk, prepare Board materials, and serve as a relationship lead for external managers and Fidelity partners.

Responsibilities include developing due diligence materials, collaborating with Compliance, Legal, and Risk, and overseeing governance forums.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Broad-based investment industry experience including operational due diligence, compliance, operations, or related areas.
• Experience with derivatives, private assets, hedge funds, BDCs, limited partnerships, intervals, tender offers, and fund-of-funds is a plus.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills; able to understand complex issues.
• Demonstrated ability to identify key risks and manage them to resolution.
• Strong project management and relationship management and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead initial due diligence for third-party providers across public, private and alternative assets.
• Develop Board and Committee materials for due diligence presentations and ongoing reviews.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and other teams to support due diligence and oversight.
• Evaluate control environments of potential investment advisers and managers.
• Provide operational risk assessments of firms and products under consideration.
• Maintain effective relationships with external managers and sub-advisors.
• Oversee implementation activities with internal and external partners.
• Participate in governance forums related to due diligence.
