Manifold Bio is seeking an experienced drug development leader to guide strategy and execution of shuttled oligonucleotide programs. You will define and execute the strategic vision for our oligonucleotide capabilities, leveraging our shuttle screening technology to discover and develop tissue-targeted therapeutics.

This role combines scientific leadership with cross-functional drug discovery coordination, mentoring scientists, and leading internal and external teams toward IND-enabling programs

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field required.
• 10+ years post-PhD experience in industry drug-discovery.
• Experience with multiple oligonucleotide modalities (ASOs, siRNAs, aptamers, mRNA).
• Knowledge of delivery technologies (LNPs, targeting moieties, etc.).
• Experience progressing oligonucleotide therapies from discovery to IND-enabling preclinical/early clinical development.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional scientific teams.

Responsabilités

• Build and lead a fit-for-purpose oligonucleotide discovery team with internal and outsourced capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional drug discovery project teams with biology and chemistry stakeholders.
• Prioritize high-value targets for tissue-targeted oligo therapeutics.
• Define target product profiles and workplans with progress tracking.
• Communicate scientific progress and challenges to teams and collaborators.
• Establish and optimize screening and production systems leveraging multiplexed in vivo screening.
• Serve as SME in discussions with partners, collaborators, and investors.
