Job summary

Georgetown University Berkley School of Nursing seeks a Director of Community Engagement and Nursing Workforce Development to lead relationships with clinicians and networks to advance education and workforce priorities.

Grounded in Jesuit values, the Director will design a short- and long-term engagement strategy, expand clinical preceptors, mentorship, and pathways to nursing careers, focusing on underrepresented communities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field required.
• 3–5 years progressive nursing, education, or workforce development experience.
• Proven ability to engage diverse constituencies across academic and civic environments.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Experience with data analysis and KPI measurement.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM to track engagement.
• Commitment to Jesuit values, equity, inclusion, and social impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of engagement strategies connecting clinicians, students, and community partners.
• Cultivate preceptors, mentors, and clinical education opportunities.
• Build pipelines to expand access for underrepresented students in nursing.
• Collaborate across BSON and Georgetown teams to align program outcomes.
• Oversee partnerships with schools and regional organizations for clinical learning.
