Job Overview

The Director of Community Engagement and Nursing Workforce Development provides strategic leadership in cultivating, expanding, and sustaining relationships with clinicians and professional networks to advance the education mission and workforce development priorities of the Georgetown University Berkley School of Nursing (BSON).

Grounded in Jesuit values of cura personalis, service, and social justice, this role advances BSON's mission by fostering meaningful partnerships that support clinical learning, student success, mentorship, experiential learning, and the future of nursing. The Director will also develop strategic pipeline initiatives that increase visibility of nursing as a profession and introduce students to nursing science, health, and healthcare careers through partnerships with schools, and regional organizations. Through health-focused learning experiences, nursing exploration activities, boot camps, and immersion programs, the Director will strengthen BSON's role as a committed partner in the region while inspiring future generations to pursue careers in healthcare.
