Job summary

Larkin Community Hospital – Palm Springs Campus is seeking an experienced nursing executive to serve as Director of Nursing for the Telemetry/Medical-Surgical and Emergency Departments. You will oversee clinical practice, staffing, patient safety, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance across the units.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN with RN licensure in Florida, a masters degree preferred, and at least five years of acute-care nursing plus three years of leadership experience, including

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited nursing program required.
• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related healthcare field preferred.
• Current, active, and unrestricted RN license in Florida required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive acute-care nursing experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing leadership/management/ director-level experience.
• Previous Emergency Department nursing experience preferred.
• Previous Telemetry/Medical-Surgical/ Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall clinical, operational, and administrative leadership of Telemetry/Medical-Surgical and Emergency Departments.
• Oversee nursing practice, staffing, employee performance, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Develop and implement staffing plans, performance management, and quality-improvement initiatives.
