Job summary

Brewer Center for Health & Rehabilitation in Brewer, Maine, seeks a Director of Nursing Services (DNS - RN) with a soft-handed but results-driven leadership style to foster a collaborative nursing department and drive RCA and POC processes.

You will provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, set goals aligned with our mission, and ensure high-quality, cost-effective care, staffing, training, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid state RN nursing license.
• 2+ years as a Director of Nursing in a Nursing Home/Short Term Rehab facility strongly preferred.
• Advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and excellence in healthcare delivery.
• Visionary mindset with a focus on innovation and quality improvement.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Ability to work with both aged and chronically ill residents in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
