Exton Post Acute in Exton, PA seeks a Director of Nursing (RN) to lead clinical services and mentor nursing staff, ensuring safe, resident-centered care. Must hold an active PA RN license and bring strong leadership and regulatory knowledge.

The role emphasizes staffing strategy, rounds, collaboration with the administrator, policy oversight, and continuous quality improvement within a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in PA required.
• Minimum 3 years clinical nursing experience in hospital, SNF, or related setting.
• Experience in supervision and staff development.
• Experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a staffing plan reflecting clinical needs and safe resident care.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor and improve nursing care quality.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with residents, families, staff, and medical team.
• Partner with Administrator to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies in line with regulations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff to promote growth and teamwork.
• Oversee quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with laws and clinical standards governing nursing facilities.
