Overview

The ideal Director of Nursing candidate is detail-oriented, organized, knowledgeable of policies and governmental regulations, with a passion for supporting and training stakeholders to deliver the best care possible to residents.

How You Will Make a Difference
  • Manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with company policies, standards of nursing practices, and regulations to ensure excellent resident care.
  • Develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct nursing services, programs, and activities in compliance with applicable rules and guidelines.
  • Assist in developing and approve the final Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for each resident, coordinating with physicians, the Medical Director, nursing staff, and outside consultants, following corporate, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate completion of forms and reports related to resident admission, transfer, and discharge, including assessments and care plans.
What You Need to Make a Difference
  • Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in long-term or acute care settings.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Current/active CPR certification.
