Overview

The ideal Director of Nursing candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, knowledgeable of policies and governmental regulations, and passionate about supporting and training stakeholders to deliver the best care possible to residents.


How You Will Make a Difference

  • Manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department, ensuring compliance with company policies, nursing standards, and governmental regulations to provide excellent resident care.
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct nursing services and programs in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines for long-term care facilities.
  • Assist in developing and approve the final version of the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for each resident, coordinating with physicians, Medical Directors, nursing staff, and outside consultants, following corporate, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate completion of forms and reports related to resident admission, transfer, and discharge, including the nursing portion of the PAE, Initial Nursing Assessment, MDS, Resident Care Plan, and Annual MDS.

What You Need to Make a Difference

  • Current Registered Nurse license in good standing in the required state.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in long-term or acute care settings.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Current/active CPR certification.
