Sharon Center for Health & Rehabilitation, an 88-bed nursing home and short-term rehab center, is seeking a Director of Nursing Services. Sharon is a member-facility of National Health Care Associates (NHCA), one of the premier providers of high-quality long-term care and short-term rehabilitation services with 41 skilled nursing facilities (23 in CT) and 7000 employees in the Northeast U.S. With a home-like environment and approachable staff, Sharon Center seeks a DNS who can bring staff along with clinical programming. In addition to a generous compensation, vacation, and benefits package, the Director of Nursing will be eligible for NHCA's Defined Contribution Plan which automatically bonuses an additional 10% of compensation annually.

What You'll Do:

As the Director of Nursing, you will provide strategic leadership to the nursing team, setting goals and objectives aligned with our mission. You will foster excellence and innovation in nursing care. Your leadership will shape the culture of our facility and drive the advancement of healthcare practice.

The Director of Nursing Services has 24-hour accountability and is responsible for the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care at the center, while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/resident and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of nurses and healthcare professionals
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance nursing practices
• Oversee nursing operations, including staffing, training, and quality assurance
• Set high standards to ensure the delivery of exceptional care to our residents
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident care plans Ensure compliance to regulatory standards
