Job summary

The Nursing Research Program Director directs and manages activities of the Office of Nursing Research and Evidence Based Practice at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems. This role provides oversight of strategic initiatives and expert consultation related to nursing research and evidence-based practice for Patient Care Services.

Candidates should hold a PhD in Nursing (or closely related field) with a Master’s in Nursing, possess Virginia RN licensure, and have at least five years

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in nursing practice, education or research.
• Experience conducting clinically-based research and disseminating findings.
• Leadership and mentoring of interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to advise Nursing leadership on strategic initiatives.
