Vertical Health Services is seeking a Director of Nursing in Saint Charles, MO. The role oversees administration and 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services, ensuring quality care in compliance with federal/state guidelines. The incumbent will lead a clinical team, coordinate care plans, and participate in admissions and strategic planning.

The position offers full-time work with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 per year.

Qualifications

• RN with state licensure required.
• Experience leading and mentoring a clinical team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, providers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for administration and management of Nursing Services to residents.
• Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards.
• Lead nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) under Nurse Practice Act.
• Coordinate total care plans in line with physician orders and regulations.
• Participate in admissions decisions and staff/management meetings.
• Develop nursing service objectives, manuals, and job descriptions for nursing personnel.
• Contribute to strategic direction and operational planning.
