Job summary

iCare Health Network is looking for a Director of Nursing with SNF experience to lead nursing services in a home-like facility. You will supervise all nursing staff, ensure adherence to standards, and maintain high-quality patient care.

The role requires an active CT RN license, supervisory experience in long-term care, and knowledge of quality improvement processes. BSN preferred; collaboration with administration to align staffing with census and acuity, and readiness for regulatory surveys is

Qualifications

• RN license in CT required.
• Supervisory experience in long-term care required.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Improvement processes required.
• BSN or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages all levels of nursing staff to ensure accountability to standards of nursing practice, quality care, and treatments.
• Develops schedule of daily rounds and assigns duties for all nursing staff.
• Oversees training of nursing staff to support clinical services and meet competency levels.
• Collaborates with Administrator to manage staffing based on census and acuity while maintaining quality of care.
• Provides leadership for directing and responding to state/federal regulations and surveys.
