Job summary

Brentwood Terrace is seeking a seasoned Director of Nursing (DON) in Texas to lead our nursing team and shape resident care strategies. You will ensure clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations across shifts.

The successful candidate will manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and mentor staff to achieve high-quality outcomes. TX RN license and strong LTC leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Texas
• Leadership experience in long-term care
• Restorative care approach
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing services in accordance with guidelines
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, scheduling and performance
• Support direct care on the floor as needed
• Review payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance
• Maintain resident records and documentation
• Develop individualized care plans with physicians and teams
• Ensure access to equipment and supplies
• Coach and mentor nursing staff to improve outcomes
